I've noticed that I'm just not tired in the evenings - still busy doing things at 11.30 - unheard of pre-Energy Egg!"
Moira S, Scotland
My mother was skeptical that the Energy Egg would make any difference to her. But she noticed that when she has been in shops in recent months that have overhead fluorescent lighting, she finds she cannot think straight, and then comes out, having forgotten to buy certain items.Since wearing the . . . Energy Egg, she has found a noticeable improvement when she is in shops.
Sitting at a computer screen can cause dry eyes, blurry vision, eye strain, fatigue, headaches and/or a gradual deterioration of your vision. It is also associated with an increased risk of developing age-related macular degeneration (leading to blindness).
The high energy blue-violet light emitted by a screen is the primary culprit.
You can reduce your vulnerability to computer monitor stress by . . .
Turning down your screen's brightness
Making sure there isn't too much sunlight or artificial light reflecting from your screen into your eyes
Some computer screen manufacturers have started marketing low-blue light screens. Unfortunately, the ones we have seen so far emit environmental stresses that are usually absent from standard monitors. So they will generate their own set of problems.
Vincent Gualino, an Ophthalmologist at a French hospital, says . . . “Children’s eyes are most vulnerable, as their retinas are clear and they “will be exposed [to computer screens] over 40 or 50 years.” For those who cannot help but be in front of screens, Dr. Gualino prescribes glasses that filter out the blue light.
Unfortunately, most people will wait until they experience an eye problem which they will then hope can be treated (it usually can't) . . . We believe it's smarter to protect your eyes now.
1 Any health (or other) problem you experience has an underlying chakra contraction. If the contraction is corrected the problem ceases.
OUR COMPUTER GLASSES
Computer glasses should be labeled UV 400. According to one manufacturer, this is what distinguishes more expensive computer glasses from "cheap" ones. As a result, all of our computer glasses are UV 400.
All of our computer glasses can be worn over another pair of glasses. Alternatively, you can get an 'Essilor' coating on prescription lenses. Or non-prescription or prescription lenses under the Crizal® Prevencia™ label. But these options are much more expensive.
One of the benefits of having a separate pair of computer glasses is that they are best worn only while you are at your computer or tablet – we need some natural blue light getting to our eyes. People who wear blue-blocking glasses all the time start exhibiting new problems in their energy. This can result in less energy, lower mood, reduced creativity and/or weaker immunity.
We offer a range of different colour and styles in computer glasses:
Our best quality plastic framed computer classes from ScreenTech £39.97
A range of lightweight metal framed computer glasses £24.97
Our standard plastic framed computer glasses £19.97
Clip-on Computer glasses £21.97
Last remaining pairs of our old style standard computer glasses £17.95
You can select your option of frame colour and style below.
If you already wear glasses and prefer not to wear an additional frame then these are the computer glasses for you!
The lenses on this clip-on frames are clear. They can easily be clipped onto any pair of glasses and can be flipped up or down as required. This enables you to move the lenses out of your way easily when not sitting at your computer or tablet. The clip on mechanism is covered in rubber to protect your glasses frames from any scratches.
Note: The lenses measure approximately 6cm wide by 4cm high.
