Clip-On Glasses - With and Without Frames

If you already wear glasses and prefer not to wear an additional frame, these are the computer glasses for you!

The lenses on these Clip-On Glasses are clear and can be purchased with or without a silver frame. They can easily be clipped onto any pair of glasses and can be flipped up or down as required. This enables you to move the lenses out of your way easily when not sitting at your computer or tablet. The Clip-On mechanism is covered in rubber to protect your glasses frames from any scratches.

Note: The lenses measure approximately 6cm wide by 4cm high.

Computer glasses should be labeled UV 400. According to one manufacturer, this is what distinguishes more expensive computer glasses from "cheap" ones. As a result, all of our computer glasses are UV 400.

All of our computer glasses can be worn over another pair of glasses. Alternatively, you can get an 'Essilor' coating on prescription lenses. Or non-prescription or prescription lenses under the Crizal® Prevencia™ label. But these options are much more expensive.

One of the benefits of having a pair of Clip-On Glasses is that they are best worn only while you are at your computer or tablet – we need some natural blue light getting to our eyes. People who wear blue-blocking glasses all the time start exhibiting new problems in their energy. This can result in less energy, lower mood, reduced creativity and/or weaker immunity.

Clip-On Glassescan also be worn for two or three hours in the evening to improve your quality of sleep

Clip-On Glasses - With and Without Frames

  • Why We Need Computer Glasses

Our eyesight is one of our most precious assets. But it's easy to take it for granted ... until it starts to go wrong. And unfortunately, our eyes are now being stressed at an earlier age than ever before.

For thousands of years, human eyesight has been perfectly adapted to see in sunlight, moonlight, starlight and firelight. But now we are in the age of LED lights, halogen lights, fluorescent lights and screens - computer screens, tablet screens, television screens, mobile phone screens, e-reader screens and much more besides.

The problem is that we haven't had time to adapt to these new forms of light. Consequently, we now suffer from artificial light-induced ...

    • Eye strain
    • Dry eyes
    • Loss of visual focus
    • Fatigue
    • Headaches
    • Brain fog
    • Insomnia
    • Early-onset retinal damage

This is what scientists are saying about the effects of blue light, mostly from electronic devices, on our eyes ...

“It’s no secret that blue light harms our vision by damaging the eye’s retina." Dr. Ajith Karunarathne

"If you shine blue light on retinal, the retinal kills photoreceptor cells ... Photoreceptor cells do not regenerate in the eye. When they're dead, they're dead for good." Kasun Ratnayake, 'UT chemists discover how blue light speeds blindness'

Safeguarding your vision should be a primary concern for any health-conscious person. In short, it's never too soon to start protecting your eyes - or your chidren's eyes - from the harmful effects of electronic screens.
